My Bio
I graduated in May 2012 with a BFA in integrated studio arts. My areas of emphasis include painting, illustration, textile design, and fiber art. My artwork has been included in several juried exhibitions. Now that I am done with school, I'm slowly putting together a gallery collection of work while simultaneously working on various commissioned works. I do wish to someday quit my day job and dedicate the extra 40 hours a week to making art or at least find a creative day job :) Until then, I'm doing what I have to do to make ends meet while keeping my creativity a priority :)

Artist Statement

My creative artworks develop from my everyday experiences, my surrounding environment, and through my hands-on process of creating. My work is frequently influenced by different stages in my daughter's life and the activities we participate in together. I especially enjoy our nature walks; I find myself fascinated by the birds, flowers, insects, trees, and how they interact with the weather. These observations and experiences are often found in my work.
I am content in creating and spreading beauty and happiness through my work. Glass, liquids, and smooth shiny surfaces along with the playful colors of childhood often influence my color
